 How do you communicate?

Most of us already know that we are living in the information age where we are no longer an industrial culture but communication one. But the question is how this knowledge affects the quality of your life?

We all produce two forms of communication from which the experience of our lives is shaped. First is the external communication that we conduct: the words we use, our tone of voice, facial expressions in order to communicate with the world. Your level of communication mastery in the external world will determine your success with others – personally, socially and financially. What is more important is the internal communication: those thoughts and things we picture, say and feel within ourselves. The level of success you experience internally – the happiness, joy, love or anything else you desire – is the direct result of how you communicate to yourself.

Our internal communication is mostly based on our belief system that we have adopted, the system that we were given at birth and never chose. Our belief system is like a Law that rules our mind. Whatever the Law says is automatically becomes our truth.

There is something in our minds that makes us judge everything and everyone, including ourselves. Our inner Judge uses our personal Law to judge everything we do and don’t do, everything we think and don’t think, everything we feel and don’t feel. Every time we do something that is against the Law, our inner Judge says we are guilty, we should be punished and ashamed. This happens every day, day after day, for all the years of our lives.

We carry the guilt, the blame and the shame. It is that part of us that says: “I am not good enough, I am not intelligent enough, I am not worthy of love”. And all of this is based on the belief system which we didn’t choose!

Our beliefs are so strong that even the years later when we are exposed to new concepts and try to make our own decisions, we find that these beliefs still control our lives. Why? Because challenging your own beliefs will make you feel unsafe. And therefore, even if your personal Law is wrong, it still makes you feel safe!

It takes a great deal of courage to challenge your own beliefs! And let me put this straight – courage doesn’t mean that you are not afraid. It means that despite the fear, you are going forward no matter what! You challenge your own truth, you challenge your thoughts, you challenge your believes, you open your heart and learn to follow your intuition rather than your rational mind! You allow yourself to think and act differently with no judgment, guilt or shame! You accept yourself; you learn to love and appreciate yourself; you make peace with your inner Judge and learn to live in a beautiful state

Today, I eat clean simply because I want to be healthy. I am falling in love with sports. I allow myself cheat days without shame and blame. Do I want to improve? Yes of course! But in doing so, I always remember to treat myself as someone I love!
